Christmas Letters

by Emily - age 13

C is for the shepard’s crook,
used for herding sheep.
H is for that holy night,
that was so cold and deep.
R is for the radiant star,
that shines so very bright.
I is for the busy Inn,
with no spare room in sight.
S is for the swaddling clothes,
warming the Adored.
T is for the traveling kings,
searching for their Lord.
M is for the loving mother,
holding the sweet newborn.
A is for the angelic hosts,
with glad tidings before the morn.
S is for the sleeping babe,
salvation come to bring.
salvation for each one of us,
So to Him I want to sing.
